DVR Animal Assisted Therapy Program

Camelids are very emotional, loving creatures perfectly suited for therapeutic use.  Our alpacas, llamas and camel create a sense of peace and tranquility which may aid in the healing process. 

When Billie was going through 6 months of chemotherapy, she would often sit in a chair in the middle of the pastures and talk with the animals.  Their calm demeanor created a stress reducing environment that we feel greatly assisted in her rapid recovery. 

If you feel that you, or someone you know, may benefit from these incredible animals, please call to set up a time for a visit with them.  All of our alpacas, llamas and camel are used to constant human contact, so most are very affectionate.
